5 Days / 4 Nights Mt. Kerinci is the second highest mountain (3,805 m) in Indonesia after Carstenz Pyramid in Papua.
It is the highest volcano in Indonesia and the second highest volcano in Southeast Asia. Situated in Sumatra, home of Sumatran rhinos, tigers and elephants. Reaching the summit entails 7 hours trekking through tropical rainforest and 3 hours on gravel and sand. 
Upon arrival at Minangkabau International Airport in Padang, we will be transferred by car to Kersik Tuo Village. The ride will take about six hours. We have dinner and spend the night at a homestay. The next day we will start our treking through tropical rainforest. We will camp at an alitude of approximately 3300 meters. The following day will start very early with a climb to Kerinci’s summit. After viewing the sunrise, we will return to the campsite for breakfast and continue the trek down to Kersik Tuo Village. We have dinner and spend the night at a homestay. After breakfast at the homestay on the fourth day, we climb up to Gunung Tujuh lake, the highest lake in South-East Asia. After we come down, we will be transferred back to Padang. Overnight in hotel. The last day after breakfast at the hotel we’ll be transferred to Minangkabau International Airport in Padang for our flight back home. In fact almost all you need is included in this package: transportation from and to Minangkabau International Airport in Padang, accommodation in guest house and hotel, camping equipment (tent, mats, sleeping bag, lighting), cooking and dining equipment, meals (from lunch on day 1 till breakfast on day 5), mountain guide, porter fees, climbing permit and entrance fees, certificate of participation and photo CD. What's not included?
